If you are diabetic and have questions about proper nutrition, sign up for our new Eating Well with Diabetes Class. This free class is led by a registered dietitian. Help us spread the word! South Lake Hospital is partnering with other local non-profits to provide FREE life-saving screenings in Mascotte on Saturday, January 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mascotte Civic Center. Screenings include free mammograms, kidney screening, cholesterol, glucose, free flu shots and more. This is an excellent opportunity to find out information on potential health risks you may have and resources to help you stay healthy. See the flyer for more details.
Today we announced a new addition to our campus. This collaboration with UF Health Cancer Center - Orlando Health will offer the South Lake community comprehensive cancer care close to home.

South Lake Hospital received an 11-acre land donation from Mr. Joe H. and Loretta Scott, Summer Bay Development, today. The land is near the intersection of Highway 27 and U.S. Route 192. This donation will allow South Lake Hospital to continue to meet the healthcare needs of this growing community.
A HUGE thank you to Cypress Ridge Elementary School for donating over 200 wrapped gifts for the children who have to spend time in our hospital this holiday season. The fifth grade classes of Mr. Sedgwick, Mrs. Middendorf, Mr. Blackburn, Mr. Hand and Mr. Locuson all contributed. Their gifts will bring many smiles to our patients!
