Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion - Blue Cedar
Growing communities in central Lake County will have access to full-service emergency care and other medical services when the Orlando Health Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion – Blue Cedar opens in fall 2017. The medical complex — being built by Orlando Health South Lake Hospital — will be located on Blue Cedar Road where the Turnpike intersects with U.S. Highway 27.
Located 13 miles north of South Lake Hospital’s main campus in Clermont, the new 20-acre property will include a free-standing emergency department, outpatient imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services, as well as space for physician offices. The site was designed to accommodate additional medical services as the need in this area grows.
The new complex is one of several projects under way that will be expanding healthcare services offered by Orlando Health South Lake Hospital within Lake County. The hospital is also building a free-standing emergency room and medical pavilion in the Four Corners area, and the main campus of South Lake Hospital is expanding the capacity of its emergency and surgical departments.
