Coming Soon: Joe H. and Loretta Scott Medical Pavilion
Residents of the Four Corners area of Central Florida will have access to a nearby emergency room and other medical services when the Joe H. and Loretta Scott Medical Pavilion opens in summer 2018. Orlando Health is building the facility near the Walmart Supercenter on U.S. Hwy. 27, just north of U.S. Hwy. 192.
The two-story, 40,000-square-foot pavilion will be anchored by the area’s first emergency room staffed by board-certified emergency physicians from Orlando Health South Lake Hospital.
The facility will also offer outpatient imaging services, such as X-rays, CT scans and ultrasound, as well as an on-site laboratory. Outpatient rehabilitation services will be offered, allowing residents to schedule physical therapy appointments closer to home.
The land on which the facility is being built was donated by Joe H. and Loretta Scott, founders of Exploria Resorts, which plans to develop a professional office village, hotel and restaurants adjacent to the pavilion.
Stay tuned for updates, including a grand opening announcement.
