Calluses and corns are hard layers of skin formed in response to friction and pressure. In the majority of cases, simply removing the source of friction will enable the skin to heal. However, in some cases, your callus or corn may need further treatment.
We may recommend using callus-reducing medication or files to minimize or eliminate the irritated area on your foot. In very rare circumstances, we may perform minor surgery to remove the hardened skin.
