Cardiologists use an electrocardiogram, also known as an EKG or ECG, as a diagnostic tool to detect abnormalities and diseases of the heart.

We can detect cardiovascular disease or evidence of a past heart attack with an electrocardiogram, then use that information in conjunction with other diagnostic tools — such as an echocardiogram and angiography — to arrive at a diagnosis. From there, we will develop a personalized treatment plan for you.
