Fallopian tube cancer, or tubal cancer, occurs when malignant or cancerous cells develop tumors in one or both fallopian tubes. It may spread to other parts of the body.
Overview
Our gynecologic oncology team will diagnose your cancer, determine its spread, and develop a treatment plan after a pelvic exam, examining your cells by removing a tissue sample, and the results of ultrasound, blood tests, MRI, and other scans. Our surgeons may perform video-assisted laparoscopic and robotic thoracic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System and recommend chemotherapy and radiation.
