Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is cancer that begins in your lymphatic system, part of the circulatory system that carries fluid to the heart. Your treatment plan will depend on your age and overall health, the type and stage of the non-Hodgkin lymphoma and whether it has spread.
We may consider targeted therapy and chemotherapy to destroy abnormal white blood cells. Targeted therapies are drugs that interfere with specific molecules inside cancer cells. Immunotherapy can boost your immune system to fight cancer. Radiation therapy aims to kill or shrink the cancer cells. If you are in remission or have had a recurrence, we may consider a stem cell transplant.
