Welcome to South Lake Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation
South Lake Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Center offers cardiac patients quality care close to home. Patients who have suffered a heart attack or other heart conditions often benefit from participating in a cardiac rehabilitation program as part of the recovery process. At our cardiac rehabilitation center, you will participate in monitored outpatient exercise three times per week in a supportive and energetic environment. Your physician will work with our cardiac nurse and exercise physiologist to prescribe an individualized program for you with the goal of improving exercise tolerance, strength and flexibility. Once you reach your goals in cardiac rehabilitation, you move into the maintenance phase of recovery and have the opportunity to set fitness goals by working with exercise physiologists and specialists at the Orlando Health National Training Center.
