The #1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That is why Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital offers training in our community to learn to stop bleeding. Become an immediate responder by learning how to control bleeding with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Stop the Bleed course. The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who is most likely to save them from bleeding to death. By learning how to control bleeding, you will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques.
