  • Joint Replacement

    Are you scheduled for a knee or hip replacement, or curious as to what to expect? We offer a live, interactive pre-op class that will familiarize you and your “coach” (a loved one who will help you through your recovery) with the expectations of joint replacement surgery. The class covers topics such as how to prepare for surgery; what to bring to the hospital; your needs for recovery and rehabilitation; and what to expect during your hospital stay and during the discharge process. This class will have you feeling confident and better prepared and our instructors will be available to answer any questions that you may have.

    Anwaar Randhawa, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and serves as a hospitalist at Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital.

    Dr. Randhawa earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, McKeesport, Pennsylvania.

    Dr. Randhawa has practiced medicine for more than 20 years. He is fluent in both Urdu and English.

    During his free time, Dr. Randhawa enjoys trying different restaurants, watching movies and playing with his kids.
