CLERMONT, Fla. — South Lake Hospital announces the availability of Licensed Affordable Care Act Navigators at the main hospital building during the open enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace, which runs mid-November 2014 through mid-February 2015.

Residents who have questions about or need help enrolling in coverage plans can get free one-on-one help from an independent licensed navigator at South Lake Hospital on Mondays and Wednesdays between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., beginning Monday, Nov., 17, and running through Wednesday, Feb. 11.

“South Lake Hospital felt it was important to help the residents in our community understand their options in the Health Insurance Marketplace,” commented Lance Sewell, South Lake Hospital chief financial officer. “Being able to have a navigator here at the hospital allows easy accessibility for all those in South Lake County.”

An appointment is required and will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Residents can call 877.564.5031 for more information or to set up an appointment. The main hospital campus is located at 1900 Don Wickham Drive, Clermont, FL, 34711 and those with appointments can use the hospital’s main entrance.

Licensed navigators have completed comprehensive federal navigator training to help consumers and small businesses look for health coverage options through the Marketplace, including completing eligibility and enrollment forms.
