Bio
Ian Levy Chua, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Inpatient Medical Group. He specializes in geriatrics.
Dr. Chua earned his medical degree at University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. He completed both his residency in family medicine and his fellowship in geriatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis.
Previously, Dr. Chua was a hospitalist at Lakeview Internal Medicine, Leesburg, Florida. He was also a primary care physician at Weirsdale Family Health Center and Umatilla Family Practice, Florida. He served as vice chair for the Family Medicine Department at The Villages Regional Hospital, Leesburg. Dr. Chua has published numerous articles for Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
Dr. Chua is a member of the Florida Medical Directors Association and the Philippine Medical Association. He is fluent in English and Filipino Tagalog.
