In this monthly group, currently provided virtually by calling in or logging on, participants will have the opportunity to share stories and experiences with others who understand their journey, while learning about helpful topics such as nutrition, available resources and other ways to improve one’s lifestyle.

  • Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Receives 11th Consecutive ‘A’ Grade for Patient Safety

    Orlando, FL (Nov. 6, 2023) – Orlando Health South Lake Hospital has earned its 11th consecutive ‘A’ grade from the Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety and transparency in the U.S. health system. Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital also earned ‘A’ grades for patient safety in the fall 2023 reporting period. This marks the fifth ‘A’ grade in a row for Orlando Health ORMC and Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips.

  • Orlando Health Announces Major Plans for Expansion in Lake County

    Orlando, FL (August 10, 2021) – Orlando Health South Lake Hospital will soon start construction to expand its campus to provide South Lake County with greater access to high-quality healthcare. Plans include an expansion and renovations to the Orlando Health South Lake Center for Women’s Health and the construction of a new 95-bed patient tower. The first phase of construction will begin with the realignment of Don Wickham Drive to intersect with Legends Way and include the addition of a stoplight to improve traffic flow.

    Clermont, FL (May 23, 2020) – Orlando Health South Lake Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Primary Stroke Center Accreditation. The designation recognizes hospitals with specific abilities to receive and treat the most complex stroke cases.
