    Orlando Health South Lake Hospital's Wound Care Center specializes in the treatment of problem wounds that result from diabetes, venous insufficiency, trauma and more. The center provides an outpatient, hospital-based program that works in conjunction with the patient's primary care physician, serving an adjunctive service for the referring physician. Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the program operates by appointment. Referrals are not necessary, unless required by insurance.

  • Orlando Health Network saves nearly $90 million in healthcare costs

    Orlando, FL January 18, 2019 – With more than 200,000 managed lives, representing more than $1.1 billion in annual healthcare expenditures, the Orlando Health Network – the largest clinically integrated network in the region – has saved $89.9 million in healthcare costs in just five years according to the Network’s 2018 Value Report, which was released today.

    Gary Kalser, MD, is a board-certified urologist with Orlando Health Medical Group. He specializes in oncology, specifically cryoablation of the prostate. This procedure is used for localized cancer and significantly reduces complications and adverse results, including erectile dysfunction. Additionally, Dr. Kalser has treated more than 100 patients with recurrent cancer after radiation.
