Overview
Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Center for Women and Babies is proud to provide a wide variety of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting classes for women and families in our community. For schedules, more information or to register for any of these classes, please call (321) 843-2584.
Our classes are taught by certified lactation consultants (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, IBCLC) and Registered Nurses who can help you plan, establish and continue providing breast milk, even if returning to work.
Moms' Morning Out Support Group - This group meets every Wednesday morning in the National Training Center on Orlando Health South Lake's campus (except holidays). It is led by a lactation consultant and is for new moms and newborns up to four months of age. A baby scale is available. No registration is necessary. Breastfeeding Consultations - Private consultations may be covered by your private insurance. The consultation is a one-on-one meeting with a lactation consultant for breastfeeding concerns. Please call 352.394.4071, ext. 4380 to schedule.
