Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion – Blue Cedar, a service of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital serves the Lake county residents with expert and compassionate care by board-certified emergency physicians and a team of highly skilled clinicians. And for severe trauma cases, immediate air transport is available from each of our ERs to Central Florida’s only Level One Trauma Center at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center or Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

This is not an urgent care. Its services and care are billed at emergency department rates.

This emergency room provides state-of-the-art services, technologies and care for all members of your family – from infants and children, to teens and adults – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The lobby also features a Kids Corner for the comfort of our youngest patients.

When to Visit an Emergency Room

Emergency rooms are designed to handle life- or limb-threatening conditions. Visit an emergency room if you or a loved one experience:

  • Broken or dislocated bones
  • Chest pain
  • Deep cuts or burns
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Seizures
  • Serious allergic reactions
  • Severe trouble breathing
  • Trauma injuries
