South Lake Hospital’s Emergency Room is fully equipped and prepared to handle major or minor emergencies that occur in our community. We provide 24-hour emergency service, including emergency air care. Recent construction more than doubled the size of our emergency facilities allowing our team to commit to taking care of your medical emergency quickly, safely and compassionately. 

When to Visit an Emergency Room

Emergency rooms are designed to handle life- or limb-threatening conditions. Visit an emergency room if you or a loved one experience:

• Broken or dislocated bones
• Chest pain
• Deep cuts or burns
• Loss of consciousness
• Seizures
• Serious allergic reactions
• Severe trouble breathing
• Trauma injuries

These lists are not all-inclusive. Always rely on your best judgment to determine if you need emergency care.
